Everyone has opinions and mine are just as arbitrary as the next insecure jerk-off.

So in the spirit of capricious viewpoints, I thought it’d be fun (read: necessary) to validate mine and compile a comprehensive list of my favorite cinematic experiences.  Did Grown Ups 2 make the list? What about Pain & Gain? Does 12 Years a Slave still suck?

The answer to one of those is “yes” – you’ll just have to watch to find out:

Good choices. There are a few on here I haven’t seen, and you’ve given me an extra sense of mission about them, such as “Before Midnight.” Curious what the personal reason is for your choice of “Nebraska” as number one. Very pleased that you liked “Inside Llewyn Davis” so much. Me too.

LOVED “Nebraska.” As it stands I would put it in a tie for #1 with “Saving Mr. Banks,” “Before Midnight,” “American Hustle,” “The Impossible Beauty” and “Wolf of Wall Street.” Would also want to find a way to include “Her,” “Llelwyn Davis,” and “Side Effects” (with “Iron Man 3” as an honorable mention). Basically, we’re lucky to have so many amazing movies!
