Jersey Joe has a spin off! Did you catch yesterday’s first ever live test episodes of his web show? Check out this special rebroadcast and play along as we check out the live technology that allows us to watch Joe cook in his kitchen – LIVE!
Jersey Joe checks out some funny shots of people captured in the Google Maps street view car.
Google maps street view first started as an experiment, where they packed a computer and a camera into the back of an SUV and drove around, capturing whatever they found on their journey. It all started back in 2007, but now they have expanded to 7 continents and there’s no stopping their little car with the 360 degree camera on top.
Even in my neighborhood, they’ve shot the front of my apartment at least three times. They continue to not only update the maps and images they already have, but continue to constantly add more streets.

What: Google street view
Purpose: online search tool
Launched: 2007
JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
As I said in my blog, I believe this is one of the most incredible inventions so far of the 21st century. In fact, they have already captured history in the making. Several buildings burnt down just around the block from my apartment and Google Maps have captured what they looked like before the fire several years ago and have now driven back around the area to capture what the block looks like today.
This is extremely helpful in times of disaster or when you want to take a look back at a nostalgic photo, or see what your old neighborhood looks like today.
Try it out! Enter your home address and see what their car and camera has captured. If they don’t have you yet, rest assured – they will!
At least, we get to see lots of people, doing lots of crazy things as this car transverses our planet. For fun, I love typing in a random address and seeing what’s around. Think of it – you can explore strange new parts of our planet, without ever leaving your home! All you need is a computer and an address! So, if you can’t get there to see the real thing — it’s like a Star Trek holodeck, now you can have your own personal virtual tour!
Jersey Joe checks out a few simple tips to find out if your hotel room is clean.

What: hotel room tips
How: 2 simple steps

JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
I love the show Hotel Impossible on The Travel Channel. Unlike most reality shows, this is less about the screaming, and more about getting results.
The viewer gets a sneak peek at the inner workings of a hotel.
With these two tips, I learned from watching the show, hopefully they will give you a little piece of mind during your next hotel room stay.

Definitely follow some of your favorite celebrities on Twitter. In most cases, you don’t even need to be a member of the service to check out your favorite stars page. However, if you do sign up, click the FOLLOW button on your favorite celebrity’s feed, so each of their posts show up front and center, the next time you log on.
Try this same game with your friends! It would actually make a great party game!
Jersey Joe sits down with television icon and an American favorite – Krusty the Clown!
THE 411
Name: Krusty the Clown
Where from: Springfield
Seen: The Simpsons TV Series
Airdate: Sundays (FOX), Syndicated to local stations, FXX
Website: www.simpsonsworld.com
JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
I think Krusty is one of the best characters ever created for The Simpsons. While he may be kid friendly on camera, he’s quite a sleazeball off screen. Between the women, the gambling, the drinking, the cigar smoking, and even run ins with the mob — Krusty has helped to keep the laughs coming, since The Simpsons went on the air 25 years ago.
Jersey Joe challenges his friends to play a round from the original 1970’s edition of Family Feud. Can they figure out what a 1970’s survey audience said, or will they strike out? Find out in this hilarious video!
Family Feud went on the air in 1976 with host Richard Dawson. Feud is a spin-off of the Super Match round from another popular 70’s game show Match Game, where Dawson was a popular panelist.
Dawson hosted the show until 1985. He also returned for a single season in 1994. Since Dawson, several other hosts have taken over, with Steve Harvey, the most recent, receiving the series highest syndicated ratings ever since he took over in 2010.
Feud originally aired on the ABC television network. It moved to CBS in the 1980’s and has is currently seen in syndication on local stations, as it always has been.
Feud is also seen in around the world and has been named the 3rd greatest TV game show of all time.
