This is just another in the large list of skills, available for the Amazon Echo device. You know how I love game shows! This skill was perfect to turn the skill into a game. Should I be daring and try another round?
Name something that squirts when you least expect it. Jersey Joe and his friends play a round of the ’80s Family Feud Challenge to see why this game is still so popular today.
Family Feud went on the air in 1976 with host Richard Dawson. Feud is a spin-off of the Super Match round from another popular 70’s game show Match Game, where Dawson was a popular panelist.
Dawson hosted the show until 1985. He also returned for a single season in 1994. Since Dawson, several other hosts have taken over, with Steve Harvey, the most recent, receiving the series highest syndicated ratings ever since he took over in 2010.
Feud originally aired on the ABC television network. It moved to CBS in the 1980’s and has is currently seen in syndication on local stations, as it always has been.
Feud is also seen in around the world and has been named the 3rd greatest TV game show of all time.
But, once again we see how the times have changed. While the 5 answers on the board are still correct today, there are a few more, modern answers that would have definitely made the list.

I love Family Feud. If you are a regular viewer of this blog, then you most surely know that. This is the first time we’ve tried playing a round of the 1980’s version. Family Feud is better as a half hour version. The only exception where this show should air as an hour are the celebrity prime time specials.
Jersey Joe plays a game from overseas with his friends – that results in everyone getting zapped by electricity!
The Moment of Truth was a game show that aired for several seasons on FOX in the late 2000s. The premiece of the game was to confront your loved ones and air your dirty laundry on national television. If you were telling the truth to a tough, personal question – you won cash. Lie and you lost it all.

JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
As far as I know, the only release of this home game was a single version to all FOX stations as a promotional giveaway. All markings on the box indicate that it was manufactured overseas. It really does deliver an electric shock. You would be surprised how powerful it is coming from 3 AAA batteries that are almost a decade old. There is also an intensity button and we were playing on the lower setting. Definitely a novelty item and something that I would not want to fool with if I had a Pacemaker.
Would you take a pie in the face for cash? Jersey Joe challenges his friends to play along. See if these next two contestants can walk away with the cash prize!
Pie Face the game became a blockbuster sensation, sparking thousands of videos online. The game was originally released in the 1960’s and returned to stores last year. A popular gift last Christmas, it sold out quickly in most stores.

Classic game shows have made a comeback to TV! This summer ABC debuted new versions of The $100,000 Pyramid, Celebrity Family Feud, To Tell the Truth, and Match Game. All were well received and scored high ratings during each new episode. All of these series have been renewed for a second season to air in 2017. Good call by the ABC executives!
This was certainly fun to play at the bar and really needs to make a TV comeback!
Can you call the next card HIGHER or LOWER for cash? Watch as Jersey Joe and his friends play a another round of the classic TV game show Card Sharks! Are the questions from the 70s & 80s the same as today?
Once again, we think this show should return to television! This summer, ABC is bringing back To Tell The Truth, Celebrity Family Feud, and The $100,000 Pyramid. Could a new Card Sharks revival be on the short list as well?

I’m surprised they haven’t brought this game show back. The 2001 edition was absolutely awful. They forced both contestants to play off of one row of cards, which meant nothing until you got to the final card.
Still a great game show and if they keep to the original rules — this really should, and probably will, return to TV soon!
