JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
Keep a lookout for sneaky menu prices like this. Many restaurants do this to add your money to their bottom line. But, by being a smart shopper and doing a little research can help you find a better deal!

Love tacos? Jersey Joe explores these fun facts about tacos!
THE 411
What: Tacos
Fact: Americanized version of Mexican food
Available: globally
JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
Tacos are definitely one of my favorite foods. But, living in the New York City area, it’s actually hard to find a restaurant that serves good ones. Most, just slap cheap meat on a cheap soft taco and try to sell that off as awesome. I don’t think so…
The best tacos I’ve ever had are at Nacho Daddy in Las Vegas, Nevada. They now have 2 locations in Vegas: downtown just off of Fremont Street and another on Las Vegas Blvd.
Where have you had some awesome tacos? I’d love to know, so I can sample and share!
Pittsburgh has a language all it’s own. Can a visitor figure out what the locals are saying? Jersey Joe and Joel play the game of Know Your Pittsburghese ‘n at!
THE 411
Name: Pittsburghese
What: local dialect spoken in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania
JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
It’s a very unique accent that I’ve only really found in that area. If you cross to Eastern PA and Philadelphia, they have a completely different accent and dialect.
It’s fascinating how various parts of our country have accents all of their own. Maybe I should try this game in a southern state or two!!!
Jersey Joe has another set of hilarious photos and scenes that you can only find around New York City.

JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
New York City is a great place to work and even a better place to play. Whether you’re local or just visiting on a trip – take a look around. You’ll always find a funny and entertaining scene!
Jersey Joe checks out these hilarious, but rejected flavors of wine.
Wine, an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting grapes has been around for more than 9,000 years. The earliest known discovery was in China, where thousands of pottery jars were uncovered. Wine can be made from a number of fruits including apple and peach, with grapes being the most popular.
In this SPECIAL EDITION, Jersey Joe taste tests Burger King’s new Halloween Whopper sandwich. The first ever fast food sandwich with an all black bun in the US.
Specialty hamburgers with black buns have been featured as promotional items at fast food restaurants overseas for years. The first, a Star Wars Darth Vador burger was sold by Quick restaurants in France in 2012. Burger King immediately followed the same year in Japan, with a Premium Kuro Burger (which means Black Burger in English.)
However, the Burger King Halloween Whopper marks the first time a black burger has appeared in the United States. Taco Bell did sell a blackjack, black colored taco shell, back in 2009.
THE 411
Name: Halloween Whopper
Restaurant: Burger King
Price: $4.99 sandwich only (value meals start at $7.99)
It’s a fun, novelty item for Halloween. Give it a try. I also like the addition of the A-1 sauce, instead of ketchup on a traditional Whopper. A word or warning… the internet rumors are true. Not to be gross, but it does turn an interesting color coming out the other end! You’ll see!
Taco Bell has taken a popular breakfast cereal and turned it into a warm, gooey dessert. So, is it worth you cash? See the unexpected surprise Jersey Joe got when he ordered his.
THE 411
Name: Cap’n Crunch Bites
What: dessert menu item
Where sold: Taco Bell restaurants
JERSEY JOE RECOMMENDS:
These are great! Very succulent! Why not give them a try?
The price structure is very affordable to add on as a menu item. I spent $1.89 for 4. They are sold in packs of 2, 4, or 6. They are kind of like eating a bowl of cereal. You can definitely taste the fruity Cap’n Crunch in concert with the warm, icing filling is a perfect match.
I just wish they would have remembered mine with my order… and at least offered me something for a second wait in line for them.
