This is a really cool product and we’ve only just scratched the surface of what she can do. It’s just like the computer on the USS Enterprise from Star Trek! While she was primarily designed to help order Amazon products as your personal assistant, she can also play music, do Wikipedia searches, read the news & weather, and even put appointments on your calendar. By adding more apps, Alexa can gain all kinds of skills from playing games to telling jokes. It truly is amazing what technology can do — and I think we’ve just scratched the surface of what this product can do.
Google is working on their own competitive version for this fall. It should be interesting to see what they come up with.
